Remembering Mrs.Patterson

Yesterday, a family member passed away. My mother-in law died at the age of 79. She led an incredible life, helped a lot of people, and always had the coffee pot on when friends stopped by. I learned a lot from her.

Love your children. Don’t disown them even if their beliefs are different than yours.

Be faithful to your spouse. Some things are hard to forgive and harder to forget.

Remember your friends. A cup of coffee doesn’t cost much and the return is incredible.

Share your blessings with others.

Be ready to cook for a crowd, even if it means throwing hot dogs on the grill and opening an extra can.

Let others take the spotlight and enjoy their time in it.

Cry when you need to and don’t be afraid to show your tears.

Keep a good relationship with your children’s spouses.

Don’t pit your children against each other.

In personal and business life, honesty is the best policy.

Don’t hold grudges.

Take care of your body and mind. Be a good example to others.

Be a member of your community. A good member that all can be proud of.

Be kind to animals. Feed them, hold them, love them.
